We love installing Ground Source Heat Pumps!

Teratherm designs and installs ground source heat pump (GSHP) systems. And we specialize in residential retrofits. That is, we design GSHPs for existing homes whose owners want to replace their existing heating and cooling system with a new, highly efficient heating and cooling system that will:

- Save up to 70% on their existing energy costs
- Save an average of 12 tons of CO2 emissions per year
- Be eligible for a full 30% Federal Tax Credit
- Be eligible for low cost financing from the Keystone Help program

Below are pictures from an installation that utilized three 250 ft. boreholes to supply a three story home with all the heat and cooling they'll need for the next 50 years! After four months of operation, this Teratherm system was tested and passed with flying colors. It extracts over 33,000BTU/Hour from the ground!

Teratherm uses the right equipment and takes all factors into consideration right down to the last detail. For instance, setting drapes to protect a patio from dust is standard operating procedure...

Our drillers are dedicated, experienced and will go the extra mile to get the job done right. These guys are good!

Prepping the loop: Teratherm always fills & pressurizes
its loops to ensure no leakage. And they stay pressurized with clean water throughout installation!

Here is a grout system. When we drill a vertical geo-system, we ensure that the borehole is filled, bottom-to-top, with the right thermal grout mixture for your application. This installation will meet or exceed expectations and we like that!

All ground loops are made of high density polyethelene pipe. And all connections must be made with a special heat fusion process. Not all fusions are equal. Teratherm technicians are trained and tested to IGSHPA standards. (IGSHPA wrote the specs and standards for ground source pipe fusion.) You can trust Teratherm to meet or exceed those standards.
The completed system is cooling this house minutes after turning it on.
